Wisconsin BadgerCare Plus Drug Alcohol Treatment Programs Database

Wisconsin struggles with high rates of alcohol misuse, opioid overdoses, and growing methamphetamine use. Through BadgerCare Plus (Medicaid) and other resources, residents can access licensed detox, residential, and outpatient programs. This database makes it easy to find treatment providers across the state.

This database contains addiction treatment facilities in Wisconsin that accept WI Medicaid insurance.

You can visit the WIsconsin DHS website here.

How to Use

  1. Enter a 5-digit Wisconsin ZIP code in the “ZIP Code” box. (No need to press Enter.)
  2. Select a search radius from the “Select Range” dropdown menu.
  3. Choose one option from each of the three filter categories. You can select them in any order, but all four filters must be selected to proceed.
  4. After selecting the ZIP code, range, and all filters, click the “Search” button to display a list of matching programs.

Tips

  • Limited Results for Specific Filters: Filters such as males only, females only, adolescents, residential, telehealth, and detox may return a limited number of facilities. If your initial search yields no results, click the back button in the upper left corner of the results screen and try increasing the search radius.
  • Call Ahead: To avoid confusion, it's suggested to phone a facility first, before visiting.
